The next step is a judge vote, with the winner to be announced at the live awards night on the 28th January 2017. So it’s now in the hands of the TBFM staff, I think that all of your very kind support will make a good impression!

I thought I’d have a look back on where music has taken me in 2016…

This year so far has seen the release of IDestroy‘s first EP ‘Vanity Loves Me’ along with two music videos. We have been back in the studio this month preparing for our next release in early 2017! A brand new project ‘DORJA‘ was launched along with our first single ‘Fire’, getting together with DORJA was my first time in America and my first time recording in another country (Wales doesn’t count!) which was an amazing experience. I was put on the front cover of the Musicians’ Union magazine and received another cool feature in Bass Guitar Magazine. The gig count is at 95 so far and we still have a few more to go! One of 2016’s gigs included playing to my biggest audience so far… The great crowd for IDestroy at Bristol Pride festival!

Awesome clip from @idestroyband at @bristolpride ! Along with the ups, there have also been downs this year – leaving Control The Storm in February, CJ and Giles leaving Triaxis in March and now coming up to the end of 2016 we will see Krissie’s final shows with Triaxis also. HOWEVER, overall this has been an amazing year. Recruiting Gareth and Matt into Triaxis has given the band a new lease of life and now that vocal auditions are complete, we have very high hopes for the future. Just watch this space! Triaxis will be back on the road with our new vocalist in February 2017, IDestroy will be releasing new music, DORJA will record their debut EP, and I will keep rockin!

So I am really pleased that my work this year has helped me be recognised by you all for shortlisting in this awards. Fingers crossed on the next round!

Cheers to you all! Have a great xmas!
