Departure from Control The Storm

I have made the difficult decision to leave Control The Storm, after 6 years of hard work it is time for me to close this chapter of my life. Thank you so much to everyone who has supported us, it has been great getting to know the regular gig-goers and also speaking to fans online from all over the world.

Also wishing lots of love to Control The Storm members, past and present. You have all contributed to a great thing and it has been a pleasure to be on this journey with great artists such as yourselves. I will always be so proud of our album Beast Inside, it was the first full-length album I have released with my own band and don’t think I’ll ever get tired of hearing it! So much has happened since its’ release 11 months ago, it feels like much longer! Dozens of gigs have been played and thousands of miles traveled on our wicked tours. I’ll never forget one of my happiest moments, playing Bloodstock for the first time with the guys in 2012… Many great memories! I have certainly grown as a musician so much since I was first asked to join at the age of 18, I am very grateful to all the CTS members for having me on the journey. Most of my bass playing life has been spent in this band, it feels strange for it to be over but I know this is the right decision now.

Sending strength and wishing all the best to Rich, Raedon and Patch for the future of Control The Storm.

Again, big thanks to the fans for making this experience so brilliant, you make this decision very hard to make. I hope to catch you another time in the future anyway!

Big love to you all!
